David Baron 2016 SHOT Business Person of the Year

At the 2016 SHOT Show, Baron Technology, Inc. president David C. Baron was the recipient of the NSSF SHOT-Business Person of the Year, which was presented by SHOT Business editor Slaton White. In the words of Editor White, “People who dedicate their lives to the service of others have a profound impact on society and, in the case of this year’s SHOT Business Person of the Year, on the shooting sports industry as well. Our recipient has led a life of this kind of service, not only to the customers of his company, but to youth and conservation organizations also. He has donated countless hours and thousands of dollars to organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America, Hunting Heritage Trust, and Kids & Clays (which benefits Ronald McDonald House charities).”
He went on to say, “In addition, he has long supported NSSF, Project ChildSafe, the NRA Foundation, and Friends of NRA. When the National 4-H Shooting Sports Foundation was disbanded by 4-H in 2008, he was a founding member of Youth Shooting Sports Alliance, which was organized to deliver firearms, ammunition, targets, and supplies to youth shooting programs across the nation. In all, this outstanding member of the shooting sports community is the embodiment of NSSF’s mission to Promote, Protect and Preserve hunting and the shooting sports.”
Baron Technology, Inc. salutes and congratulates its president on his second receiving of this well-deserved award.
