Baron Engraving and Kids & Clays Foundation Support Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut

Since 1988 the Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) of Connecticut has served as a safe haven for families with children seeking healthcare at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital and other local facilities. By creating, identifying, and supporting programs that provide vital medical resources, RMHC of Connecticut has been offering support to families during the hardest times of their life. Their mission: To provide all children with access to medical care and for families to be supported and actively involved in their children’s treatment. Annually, RMHC programs help save families nearly $1 million in hotel and food costs, providing homes away from homes for many of 25,000 families who have to travel to get the healthcare their child seeks.

To support the initiatives of RMHC of Connecticut, Baron Engraving is proud to be auctioning off a customized, hand-engraved Stainless Colt 1911 Government Model through GunBroker. All proceeds from the sale of this distinguished firearm will go directly to RMHC of Connecticut through the Kids & Clays Foundation. This is your chance to help improve the lives of critically ill children and their families.

This gun was the creation of Baron master engraver, Rob Bunting. It features a Baron Grade 1 scroll on the slide and frame. Additional highlights include 24 karat gold plated screws, accenting with faux ivory grips, a slide stop, and thumb safety.

If you’re interested in helping the cause and getting to own a unique custom gun, bid soon. The auction is scheduled to end at 10:00 PM (EST) on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
